Economics of Inflation !!!

Hi Friends,

Well the inflation in the country is rising like a fire in the forest.......and if soon it is not controlled it is going to burn the entire country....but some times I think, whether the government is really serious to control the price rice ?.....I don' think so......Okay let me tell you the reasons.

There is simple rule of economics, which is based on DEMAND and SUPPLY.....when supply is less than demand, the price increases.....and when supply is equal to or more than demand the prices decrease........I don't know why the government is not understanding this simple fact and acting accordingly.....Do you know what our Government is doing for price control.

The Government is of view that the purchasing power of people has increased. That's why they have raised demand and prices have increased.....So for price control......they increased the interest rate in a view that by increasing the interest rate on debt they will reduce the purchasing power of the people.....(as they will borrow less and demand will be reduced)…..Ha Ha Ha......What a Rubbish thinking......You also laugh at this thought.....They just increase percentage of CRR (Money kept with the Government by the banks) to squeeze the lendable money from the banks....because due to that the bank's are forced to increase their lending rates as well as deposit rates......So, Government also think that by increased deposit rates the people will come into habit of saving and won't spend much.......therefore the demand will decrease and the prices will be controlled.

But due to this strategy of the government, what is happening ? The rates of things are not coming down rather these are going up because the government has not done anything to control the prices, it has simply reduced people's purchasing power. Now what will the innocent poor do ? He had already less purchasing power, the situation has not turned for him due to steps taken by the government, resultantly he will suffer the most and have to pay more for his daily needs. That's the reason why the poor is getting poorer day by day.

Now, just think what should have been done to control the price rise. There are two causes of price rise. One is less supply of goods and another is holding of goods. Both things are required to control to effective price control. Let's see it one by one..…

Supply of Goods – The production of food items / grains has become stable at approx 200-220 million Ton from last many years, while the population has not stopped growing. So the demand is increasing and we could not increase the production in the same proportionate as regard as fooding items. But what we have done to increase the production? We have got a poor minister to look after the portfolio. The things are not moving at all to increase the food production because of NO POLICY. The agriculture land is being decreasing for urbanization and industrialization. Then how the production will be increased. Why not technology is being emphasized in this area ? A small country like Israel produce all kind of food grains and is self-sufficient. Then why can't we ? Having such a vast fertile land. The requirement is excellent policy, great leadership and honest willpower.

But on the other end the position is also not so worse. Tones of food grains is getting soiled in the godowns, but the government is unable/not willing to distribute it amongst the poor or sell it on reduced price and this can be termed as Holding by the Government, which ultimately cause increase in prices. 

Secondly, apart from foodgrains, the prices of petroleum products and Cooking Gas is also increasing day by day. The government says that they are giving subsidy on these products and petroleum companies are suffering loss. I couldn't understand up to now, as to which petroleum company is running in loss. The increasing prices of petrol hit the prices of all sort of products and if the government is giving subsidy on this, they are not doing any mercy on the people. They are duty bound to do so as they are running the government and subsidy is being provided from the money of taxpayers only. The Petroleum companies are no where bearing the burden and they are very well earning their profit either from the consumer or from the Government.

Holding – One example I have given the holding by the Government as in the case of food grains. Secondly the holding by the people and companies. Just think whenever you apply for a gas cylinder, you will have to wait for 10-15 days for getting delivery and if you are in urgency you have to pay extra money, I mean to purchase the gas through black market. The gap of this 10-15 days is always maintained. I would just urge, that why this gap is not being meet out by extra production…. I am not saying to meet out it in a single day but do it in phased manner, reduce this gap within a period of 5-6 months. But the government will never do it, why ? Because if it do so, the black market in this sector will stop immediately. So the will power is necessary to control the holding of products. It is just one aspect, similar pattern is happening in case of all other products, causing the price hike.

So my dear friends, I would just submit that the government is not keen to move the things in right direction, they have nothing to do with the poor. He is dying, Let him die. Who cares? The government is busy in taking care of petroleum companies, it is busy with holding of food grains for tough time on the cost of today's death toll…So let it be.

But, my humble request is to the government that still there is time. Don't make it Somalia and Heithi for a portion of the people of this country. They are our own people, we need to be a little emotionally attached with them…..So just open your eyes and let the people live gracefully on this beautiful earth and enjoy him the moments of glittering sky…..Otherwise, he is also holding two hands…..which are capable enough to burn fire any day.

जाल में बचपन

नमस्कार दोस्तों, 

आपको तो पता ही होगा कि देश में १४ साल तक के बच्चो को शिक्षा का मौलिक अधिकार प्राप्त है. क्या अपने आस पास घूमते हुए आपको इस अधिकार पर हंसी नहीं आती ? इस बात पर शर्म नहीं आती. मुझे तो आती है. कहने कि जरुरत नहीं कि देश में बाल श्रम अपने चरम पर है. देश के किसी भी कोने में चले जाइये, चाय की दुकान पर छोटू आपको मिल ही जायेंगे. किसी भी छोटे बड़े मकैनिक की दुकान पर चले जाईये आपको रिंच हाथ में लिए बच्चे गाडी के नीचे दिखाई दे जायेंगे. यौन अपराध अपने चरम पर है सो अलग. ऐसे में सर्व शिक्षा का दम भरना न केवल शासन का खोखलापन दिखता है बल्कि हास्य भी उत्पन्न करता  है. क्या इस प्रकार के कानून बना लेने मात्र से सरकार को भी अपने कर्त्तव्य से इतिश्री मिल जाती है ?

अभी अधिक साल नहीं हुए. देश में शिक्षा हेतु क़र्ज़ की नीति लागू कर दी गई. लोग बड़े खुश हुए की चलो अब बच्चों को उच्च शिक्षा मिल जाएगी. परन्तु मुझे ख़ुशी नहीं हुई. क्योंकि मुझे लगता है कि शिक्षा हेतु क़र्ज़ के माध्यम से सरकार बचपन को क़र्ज़ के जाल में फंसा रही है. जिस बच्चे की उम्र पढने लिखने की है. अपनी जिंदगी संवारने की है. पुस्तकों से ज्ञान अर्जित करने कि है, अब वह बैंकों के चक्कर अपना लोन पास करवाने और उसके ताम झाम समझने में व्यतीत करता है. जिससे वयस्क होने से पहले ही वह क़र्ज़ के जाल में उलझ कर रह जाता है. लिहाज़ा जब वह वयस्कता की दहलीज़ में अपना पहला कदम रखता है तो स्वयं को कर्ज़दार पाता है. शिक्षा सार्थक रही तो उसकी अच्छी खासी उम्र अपना क़र्ज़ चुकाने में बीत जाती है, परन्तु अगर कहीं नौकरी नहीं मिली तो फिर बेचारा खुद को बैंको से छुपाने की कोशिश करता रहता है. जिससे उसे स्वयं के चोर जैसा या चोर होने का एहसास होने लगता है. 

 

मुझे समझ नहीं आता, की भाई शिक्षा देना तो माता पिता का कर्त्तव्य है. माता पिता नहीं तो समाज का कर्त्तव्य है, उस शासन का कर्त्तव्य है जो सुशासन का दावा करते है, उनका भी नहीं तो समाज सुधार के ठेकेदारों का कर्त्तव्य है जो जब तब पताका लेकर खड़े हो जाते हैं, परन्तु किसी भी दशा में बालक का खुद का तो ये कर्त्तव्य नहीं बनता की वह अपनी शिक्षा के लिए धन की व्यस्था करे. 

देश में धन कि कमी नहीं, परन्तु सरकार को तो उद्योगपतियों कि चिंता सताती रहती है, उनके लाभ कि चिंता सर्वोपरि है क्योंकि चंदा तो उन्ही से मिलता है. फिर बच्चों कि चिंता भला कौन करे. मैं  पूछता हूँ कि क्यों शिक्षा पर समग्र सब्सिडी नहीं दी जा सकती. क्यों मुफ्त बाल शिक्षा, और मुफ्त उच्च शिक्षा कि नीति लागू नहीं की जा सकती है. क्या सरकार को आगे आकर इस दिशा में प्रयास नहीं करना चाहिए.

परन्तु सरकार कुछ नहीं करेगी. अब आप ही सोचिये जिस देश का  बचपन इन सब मुसीबतों से गुजरता हो, उस बच्चे से आप क्या अपेक्षा रखते है. आपने बच्चों को दिया तो कुछ नहीं, परन्तु बदले में आपको ओलम्पिक का गोल्ड चाहिए, अच्छे वैज्ञानिक चाहिए, कुशल इंजिनियर और दयालु डॉक्टर चाहिए. आप दान (Donation) के नाम पर हो रही रिश्वत पर अंकुश नहीं लगायेंगे. ट्यूशन के नाम पर ब्लैकमैलिंग पर नियंत्रण नहीं करेंगे, परन्तु बच्चों से ये जरुर अपेक्षा करेंगे की वह बड़ा होकर भ्रस्ट ना रहे देश की सेवा इमानदारी से करे. एक आदर्श नागरिक बने. अरे आपने तो उसकी नसों में खून की जगह छल भरा है तो मेरे भाई अपेक्षाए क्यों ?

अंत में मैं तो मात्र इतना कहूँगा की बचपन को छलना छोडिये. उन्हें क़र्ज़ के जाल में मत फंसाइए. अभी भी समय है, कहीं ऐसा ना हो की जब तक हम चेतें तब तक देर हो जाए.

Meaning of the Famous Win.......

Well Friends........First of all Congratulations to all of you for the World Cup Win of India......Now we can be proud that WE ARE CHAMPIONS........Champions ...Because We are not only World Cup Trophy holder, We are also the Number One Test Team in the World......

But I was thinking that what is the meaning of this famous win.....and I just reach on to conclusion that if efforts are made in right direction then any dream can be true........that might take time........but ultimately......one can definitely achieve one's desired goal......Sachin saw a dream perhaps more than 20 years back to win this world cup.....he tried tried and tried........he played in FINAL......he got out even in first round also.......but ultimately at the end.......he got his goal.......I recollect one of my poems.......

नन्हें नन्हें कदम धरा पर ठुमुक ठुमुक जब बढ़ते हैं

कदम एक भी आगे बढ़ने पर हर्षित मन करते हैं

गिरते पर फिर उठ चल पड़ने को मन उनका मचलता है

सपने सत्य नहीं होते उन्हें सच में बदलना पड़ता है.....

and see how beautifully......the dream has been converted into reality........hear, We all must learn a lesson from this famous win......that work hard in the right direction in our own lives.....and we will definitely achieve our desired goal one day....... 

Further, in the City, I seen people hugging and shaking hands with unknown persons.......I saw them dancing on the crossroads.......I was the hoisting of tricolour on a Rare day.........So this World Cup has given joy and happiness to the people.........More than that....... Head of two neighbor countries came to India.......INDIA RESUME DIALOGUES WITH PAKISTAN.......I seen Afridi saying "Why hatred with India"........I seen one person of Pakistan, who came India to cheer up India..........Is it not strange.......I see the end of hatred.....through this World Cup.......

Here, one of my friends asked me to compare between the teams of 1983 and 2011.......I told him that my dear friend...Its not important at all.......But when he insisted upon i told him.....that the World Cup win in 1983 was greater than it because at that time we had beaten the Great West Indies, who were known as un-beatable side....At that time West-Indies, Australia and England were at their peak......but today the situation is not same.....all these countries cricket is showing downfall........The only difference is that at that time the Media was not so powerful.....TVs were not so available........Money was not so involved in cricket......as a result....Players hardly got Rs.1.00 Lac each by a show by Lata Didi.....I am not taking credit of present cricket team but just say.........Please Don't Compare between two great sides........

Friends, here .....you  have every right to be disagree with me......But it's my own opinion......

Attack on Libya ???

Dear Friends, 

Day before yesterday, I got surprised, when I heard that some MPs have raised the issue of attack by US and Allied Countries on Libya and Mr. Pranav Mukharjee (Govt.) also shown their concern over the issue and assured a discussion soon over the issue.

Here I remember one small story from "Mahabharta". On 18th day of the great war, when the duel battle set between Bhima and Duryodhana, there was a question that who will be the Judge. In between "Balram" came there and he was assigned the duty of Judging. During the battle Bhima attacked on the thighs of Duryodhana and on this Balram got angry because Bhima had broken the rules of the battle. He said that Pandavas are wrong and they have wrongly won the entire battle. At this point of time Krishna asked him that "O my great brother, where were you when the sides of battle were being decided. Remember at that point of time you decided to go to Pilgrimage. So at this point of time you are having no right to raise such issues." On this Balram had to keep quite and he went away from there.

I just want to say that where were India, China and Russia like states when the UN resolution was being passed on Libya. Why neither China nor Russia used their veto power. Why  India remain absent from voting at that moment of time and let the resolution passed by 10-0. Now speaking out against US and allied forces are nothing but elephant's teeth which are just to show. I don's understand whom they want to impress at this point of time. Is it also so called Secular Politics.

On the other end US, Britain and France are also not knowing what they are doing and why they are doing. There is dictatorship in so many countries and time to time they suppress their oppositions cruelly. It is not just today's story, from very old time it is happening and happening. Whether they are going to attack all un-democratic countries one by one ???

They destroyed Iraq, Afghanistan and now Libya. In near future they might also attack on Yaman, Oman and UAE like countries. But at the same time, they tolerate the countries like Pakistan, Corea and China. Why ??? the rules are set country-wise.

The question is whether the people of Libya should have been left on their destiny. Whether the other countries must have no role even in case of Katle-Aam of the people by the Govt of any country. I would say NO. But I would just say that then don't discriminate between China and Libya, both are having almost similar governing system.Further, don't let it be Fight for Fuel (Oil).......It seems that all eyes are on the Oil Wells of Libya. If it is so, then it is definitely dangerous for the future of this world. Because then soon fight for other resources would also start.

But If it is not so then in my personal opinion, the US is right at this time at least They are doing the job with the approval of UN. They are attacking in a Legal Framework. Today, Russia, China and India are having no right to criticize them. The people of Libya can't be left on the discretion of a Mad Ruler. Yes Mad Ruler's can save themselves by becoming more stronger, perhaps being Atomic Power is one criteria by which they can save themselves............I don't know it is right or wrong.......But it seems so......What you say.......

True Friendship

Hello Friends,

From last so many days, I was thinking to create a blog. But the auspicious day came today only. While writing my first blog, I am thinking which subject to choose first. Let me choose the subject friendship. Yes It;s true that there is nothing like friendship in this world. A true friend is he who knows about you more than you, who listen your words by your heart bits and not by saying....who can feel the water of your eyes without your crying........, who remains happy in your happiness and sad in your sadness.......He who really cares for you and never even thought to give you harm by any mean........

You will say what is new in this.....Everybody knows this fact.......But I say....Its important........because despite knowing the fact most of the time we don's establish such true relationship......So I would just say that........ Don't collect a number of friends just for having friends........Have few friends but make true friendship with them..

 Definitely we will talk on different issues if you share your thoughts with me.......So Let's share our feeling........So Let's Talk...........
